Who We Are
Electrify Cincy started as a result of a collaboration between the City of Cincinnati’s Office of Environment and Sustainability, Groundwork Ohio River Valley, and People Working Cooperatively. These three partners took part in an 18-month learning cohort with other cities nationally called Electrify Communities through RMI. As a result of that learning process, the partners determined that community and contractor education were the best first steps for Cincinnati as we work towards the Green Cincinnati Plan goal of 20,000 electrified households by 2028.
This website arises as a result of the community education component of Electrify Cincy. For now, the home for Electrify Cincy is with the City’s Office of Environment and Sustainability. In coming years, though, that may change. We look forward to growing the effort in new and exciting ways!
